  • Why do I always feel this way,
  • The way I feel when I'm with you,
  • Everyone says I'm in love,
  • With all my hurt, how is it true?
  • This feeling is good,
  • But it makes me want to cry,
  • You make me lose my train of thought,
  • And you make my tongue all tied.
  • When you hold me in your arms,
  • Everything seems to go away,
  • But when I'm not with you,
  • All my hurt comes back that day.
  • It's hard to fall in love again,
  • After all the hurt I've been through,
  • My heart is slowly healing,
  • As I fall more and more in love with you.
  • I believe that God made one man,
  • One man for me to love,
  • I wonder all the nights I sleep,
  • Are you that man God sent from above?
  • When you say those sweet things you say,
  • You make me feel like someone cares,
  • And when you say "I love you"
  • My heart slowly repairs.
  • What is this feeling that I feel,
  • It's love, this I know,
  • For when you hold me in your arms,
  • It slowly starts to show.

    The One

    • When I first met you, Love was not there.
    • But at that moment, I didn't care.
    • Then I matured, and so did you,
    • I then found out, That my love was true.
    • You're the guy of my dreams,
    • You're the star in my sky.
    • Then finally on, The very last day, I took your hand,
    • And led you away.
    • Away from the world, I spilled out my heart,
    • And that's when I knew, That our love would start.
    • Now we're together, Happy and free,
    • I'll stay by your side, 'Til I cannot breathe.
    • And even after,
    • We've passed away,
    • My love for you,
    • Won't fade away.

I find these poems in books and websites everwhere. I love poetry, from love poems to heartbreaking poems. Most of these poems are some of the things I've been through, but I pulled through them with the help of awesome friends and family. So if you think there's no hope left, don't worry, you'll get through it somehow. If I can do it, and I can barely do anything right, you can do it too.

    The Look                          By: Sara Teasdale

    • Strephon kissed me in the spring,
    •   Robin in the fall,
    • But Colin only looked at me
    •   And never kissed at all.
    • Strephon's kiss was lost in jest,
    •   Robin's lost in play,
    • But the kiss in Colin's eyes
    •   Haunts me night and day.

The World is Our Home                By: Jessica "Thuong" Nguyen

    • If you look at the things around you,
    • You'll be amazed at the things that surround you.
    • Everybody makes a difference;
    • From the fun-loving children who fill our lives with joy and laughter,
    • To the everyday heroes like doctors and firefighters.
    • Look at the beautiful, endless ocean filled with wondrous creatures of the deep,
    • And the fascinating amphibians that hop and leap.
    • From the animals to the people,
    • From the mountains to the trees,
    • Our wonderful Creator made all the things we see.
    • Sometimes we take for granted,
    • And destroy our beautiful home on this planet.
    • So please remember to take care of our beautiful home that was given to us,
    • The world- our home.

    Love in Another's Eyes                                   By:BlueRosesOnaBrokenHeart

    • And he swears he loves her,
    • Just to see her smile through the tears.
    • But the smile's fake as she feels her heart brake,
    • Realizing her worst fears.
    • She doesn't love him anymore, it's true.
    • And she's just wishing there was something she could do.
    • The arms that hold her aren't who she thinks,
    • As she tries to stop reality in a few short blinks,
    • As she finds love in another's eyes,
    • And as her love for he who holds her slowly dies.
